PC vs. Console Gaming

Title explains it all. What do you prefer more? PC or Console gaming? I'll open up a poll, but feel free to post and explain your answer.

i voted for pc only because it's what i play the most now a days. but i used to be a hardcore console fan. (back when i had no pc). and when you take certain things into consideration, (like the fact that i can play nes/snes/sega/arcade/psx/gb/gbc/gba/n64 games on the pc too...well...it just fking ownz.)

plus. my two favoriate gaming genres (rts and fps) are the best on pc and nowhere else. so to me. pc is king.

consoles are good for like platformers or anything else. but rts and fps are the best on pc. and lets not forget mmo's either. which i also love. pc's just rule.

Console all the way. PC games suck. Without a controller they don't even compare. Plus big pc monitors are too expensive. I like using a big TV to play console games, but I'm very anti PC games. I played Diablo II for maybe 30 minutes one night on PC and never played it again.

Oh sure, it looked off the charts, but I just hate pc, I hate using the mouse for games, it's very uncoordinated and does not have the gameplay characteristics of a controller.

There is only one game I play on PC and I haven't played it in a year because the emulator is a piece of junk. That would be Rastan by Raine emulators.

Anyways, I don't like PC games, I like console, and I always have.

I voted for PC.

The reason I like PC gaming better i because you can customize the controls more...and for the type of gaming I like thats a whole lot better.

For FPS games, I find it a lot better to use a mouse to AIM, it seems more real then using arrows to aim..

For racing games, I like using a keyboard. I find it easier to have custom controls and I like them being a little more spread out.

Up until these past 2 or 3 years, PC graphics have always been superior to console graphics. Now they are just about the same...but most PC games can get slightly better. If you're sitting 2 feet away from a 21" monitor, it feels the same as sitting 10 feet away from a 32" TV anyways, so I don't think screen size is an issue.

I vote console. Mainly cos PC games suck (Cept, Guild Wars, Sims and American Mcgee's Alice). I way prefer console games. Using a mouse and keyboard can be difficult sometimes, specially if your not used to it. Its much easier to control a character with a console controler. Plus All the PC versions of games suck. Like the Tomb Raiders on PC. They were ****.

I actually liked the Tomb Raider for PC a whole lot more then the console version.

One more thing I like about PC better is that you can get any console game on PC (as long as its CD). There are emulators out there for the different consoles so you can run PC games, or you can download a hacked version.

Or in other words you can steal the game without paying for it. It doesn't matter the hacked versions usually have bugs, and the games suck even more when using emulators cuz the emulators could be totally screwed up.

Another reason I avoid pc games, is because I'd rather physically own the copy and be able to play it with ease on my console.

And don't tell me the laws or rules with emulators, I already know them. No one follows them, it's just another example of stealing something you didn't pay for legally or legitimately.
