Legion of Angels Code of Conduct: Rules and Regulations
Legion of Angels Code of Conduct
The following rules and regulations are to be followed and respected.
This forum was created to honor God and to help people in their time of need by offering prayer or advice in all aspects of life. We are a support forum. With this in mind, we have created a set of rules that we hope will foster respect and kindness towards each other and help us grow as a community.
The Legion of Angels Code of Conduct are divided into two groups.
- Guidelines for posting
and
- Categories of Offenses
Guidelines for Posting
The guidelines for posting are general rules to follow to make your stay here a bit easier and trouble-free.
Seek and You Shall Find
The 'Seek and You Shall Find' guideline is the idea that there's a very good chance a thread you might want to make has already been posted by someone else. And that in order to prevent multiple threads with the same topic to be created, we highly suggest you first try searching for it to see if one has been made and post to that one instead. The 'Seek and Ye Shall Find' guideline does NOT apply to the Suffering and support forums where situations will most likely differ from person to person.
A Place For Everything and Everything In Its Place
This guideline is a friendly reminder to please double check to make sure the thread you are about to make belongs in the forum you're about to post it in. We worked hard to create a forum for every possible topic. If you are unsure of where to place your thread, use your best judgement and pick the one you believe is most closely related to your topic. If you still can't figure out where to post your thread, feel free to pm a mod or admin for help.
The Golden Rule
"So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets." Matthew 7:12 Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Apply this to your day to day postings, and you can do no wrong.
Categories of Offenses
The categories of offenses are divided into 3 classes according to their severity. They list the type of posts that are absolutely not allowed and will not be tolerated. Read them carefully so as to avoid any future problems.
Class I - Slight Misconduct
Class I offenses will be dealt with at moderators and administrators discretion. First time offenders will receive reminders followed by a link to these very rules. Later offenses will receive warnings. Repeated offenses will be dealt with by closing or deleting the offending posts and possibly a warning via PM or email. Failure to take note of repeated warnings will lead to disabled accounts with near to zero possibility of reactivation. The following are considered to be Class I offenses: Unintended Spam Double Posts Posting a thread in the wrong forum Being unreasonably stupid and annoying Class II - Moderate Offense
Class II offenses will be dealt with similarly to Class I offenses but harsher warnings and fewer opportunities to reform. If the first few warnings are not taken into consideration, your account will be temporarily banned. The following are considered to be Class II offenses: Flaming [Verbal attacks using inflammatory, hostile, derogatory, offensive, and insulting language] Intentional Spam Excessive use of foul language Trolling [deliberately provoking arguments in non-debate threads] Advertising [ask for permission first] Intentionally giving bad advice Class III - Severe Transgression
Class III offenses will NOT be dealt with. You will receive NO warnings. You will be banned immediately without question. Whether the ban is temporary or permanent will be at the administrators discretion. The following are considered to be Class III offenses: Multiple Accounts Verbal or Image related attacks towards God, Jesus, and Christianity [frustration & venting is allowed - Trying to destroy God, Jesus, or Christianity is NOT] Threats and Harrasement Hacking Impersonating staff or other members
