Legion of Angels: Religious Disclaimer
This thread is to answer many questions that Christians might have about the website, as well as those who are judging Christians, and lastly those that are fanatical or ultraconservatists.
Legion of Angels: Religious Disclaimer
What is the Legion of Angels?
A group of like-minded individuals that want to help spread the word of God as well as interact and discuss over the internet about all sorts of topics, and lastly to give support & advice to anyone that needs it. Is this a new religion or an online church?
No it's not a new religion, nor is this a church or church affiliated website.
The religion discussed here is Christianity, while members of churches are a part of the staff & community here, the Legion of Angels does not address, condone, or recognize one church over any other.
We recognize Christ as Lord. Is this another false prophet spreading new lies of things manipulated from the bible?
Absolutely not. The Legion of Angels is ONLY a concept of the angels of the Christian religion. In no way does it's creator state that it is real, and in no way are they or anyone else here "prophesying" anything.
It's just a website with a Christian focus, the angels simply represent the staff members on site. Are the angels on the website real angels?
No, they are humans on the earth representing the angels of the Legion of Angels concept. They are normal people like you & me.
Nor are the angels conceptually speaking real, the only angels that anyone is aware of that are "true" are listed of in the bible. Isn't it blasphemous to use angels such as Lucifer or other Evil Angels?
It's not blasphemous in anyway, that is a fanatical twisted Christian perspective that simply isn't true.
Lucifer and the other evil angels are representing what it says in Revelation of the 1/3 of the stars falling from the sky, or the evil angels that fell to earth. In short, it's a realistic representation of them. While however realistic in theory, it isn't to say that they are the exact evil angels of the Christian religion. Why use evil angels at all, what is there purpose here?
Because it's realistic, that's the reason why the creator is using them for this website. Because no one is going to sugarcoat anything and lie to you by saying that there are only "good angels", as anyone that actually knows there bible knows that it isn't true. In the pursuit of Christianity we cannot blind our children and fellow Christians with lies of hallmark card beauty, when it's not the truth.
The purpose of the Evil Angels on this website is to be normal staff members like the other angels, but in speech and discussion, to talk AGAINST there "evil mode" of existence. (i.e. The Angel of Lust would talk against Pre-Marital sex) What about Alpha and Omega, why use those names, aren't they the names of God, isn't that blasphemous?
The creator does not agree that it's blasphemous. God in Revelation describes himself as both, the Angels using those names are using them singularly. Again, it's only conceptual of why the names were chosen.
The names were chosen because of reverse thinking, as God's ways are not our human ways. In thinking of "who was the first angel", the natural scientific answer would be the Angel of Time, however that's man's easy assumption or theory here. In thinking things through God would had to have loved what he was to create first, therefore the first concept is Love, and the last angel biblically are the Angels of Wrath or The Wrath of God.
Lastly the creator of the Legion of Angels has always thought about how humans were "made in God's image", and it's one of the most highly discussed subjects or topics of the bible. Naming his first and last angel Alpha and Omega, is like a human father who names his child after himself. It showcases ownership and the fact that the glory is always God's, not angels, and not humans. With that said perhaps being like God is more emotional or mental, rather than physical in appearance. I'm a Christian and I don't want to join!
That's ok, and thanks for stopping by.
Remember though, that Jesus taught us to love and to care for the meek of the earth and in general...those that suffer. So if you can take a moment to help those that are suffering and spread the word of God, the Legion of Angels thanks you. I'm not a Christian, but I'd like to join!
Please do, the Legion of Angels does not discriminate against any group or distinction of character or human. You don't have to be a Christian to join.
The forum itself has a censorship lock on vulgar words, so it's safe for children to. ------------------------------------------
This will be edited if any other fanatical Christian questions or perspectives arise.
