Depression is one of the worst experiences for a human. It doesn't matter what causes it, and it doesn't matter how long it lasts, it just doesn't feel well in anyway for the soul. Amidst stages of depression for the Christian things can get really tough due to feelings of insignificance.

Why am I here?

What good am I?

Do you even hear my prayers, even if you say no and don't grant them, do you even listen?

Have you forgotten about me?

Why do I feel so alone?

Am I really that bad, even when I don't sin, I am left without, why?

I'm waiting for that special someone, and I don't think they are ever coming, why should I be alone and others openly have love even if they don't believe in you?

You can write books upon books on questions to God, or troubles while suffering, but it won't fix the problem. You're still left with empty questions and a troubled heart. Many people falter when posed with a lack of response and I'm sure many will turn away from our Lord because of this.

I cannot tell you the dire times you are in my friends. I cannot explain to you why you live in a world where nearly everyone is out for themselves, and no one really cares about others. It's detestable at best, and aside from the rare act of kindness, it isn't even worth assuming humans can or want to be good to each other.

I think the coldest moment a person could feel is when they think of the sand on a seashore and realize, that they are just a grain of sand, amidst millions of sand particles. It's hard to feel that he loves you to, since there are so many others to love and take care of, and sometimes I wonder if while some suffer others have things going alright.

Don't feel that you aren't special, and don't feel that you aren't unique, and don't feel that no one loves you or that your father in heaven doesn't, because he does.

Read and remember Jesus' teachings

Luke 12:24

"Consider the Ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds!"
